Doug Landry
Founder & President
With 18 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, Doug Landry is a seasoned expert in orchestrating successful financing solutions for a diverse range of projects. As a leading professional in the industry, Doug has a proven track record in arranging debt, equity, and joint venture financing for commercial real estate, ensuring that each project reaches its full potential.
Doug’s extensive career spans multiple senior roles, where he has consistently delivered exceptional results. His expertise encompasses a wide array of property types, including multifamily, hospitality, retail, office, and raw land development. Doug’s strategic approach and deep understanding of market dynamics enable him to craft customized financing solutions that meet the unique needs of developers and investors alike. In addition to his role as a financier, Doug also directly invests in real estate, bringing an investor’s perspective to every deal.

Doug graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Real Estate & Urban Economics.

Ray Silliere
Director
Most recently as the Senior Vice President & Head of Real Estate Finance for a public real estate investment trust, VEREIT/Cole Capital, where he led a team that effectively managed the company through the 2007-2009 debt crisis by developing new debt strategies that steered the company away from the conduit market and establishing new critical lending relationships with banks and Life Insurance mortgage lenders.
Prior to the principal experience, he held senior positions in finance at Deutsche Bank, Shell Capital, Commercial Finance America Corp, among others.
Specialties include REIT financing, complex structured underwriting, Loan Contract Negotiations, Commercial Lending & Finance, Portfolio Management, Establishing Credit Operations, and Team Leadership.

Ryan Murray
Senior Associate
In addition to his work at EM Capital, Ryan supported Greater Boston area developers by analyzing and executing residential and mixed-use development projects. He began his career in investment banking, advising companies across various industries on mergers and acquisitions.
Ryan holds a master’s degree in finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Stonehill College, where he was also a pitcher on the baseball team.

Mark Phillips
Capital Markets Advisor
Most recently as a Vice President for BDP Holdings, Mark was an integral part of the acquisitions and asset management team purchasing over 825,000 square feet of commercial properties worth nearly $220 million. He assisted in launching, raising and placing a $20 million real estate equity fund focusing on special situations arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to BDP Holdings, Mark worked at Cushman & Wakefield where he was a key member of the leading investment sales team in New Jersey that had over $7.4 billion over closed transactions between 2018 and 2020. Mark closed over $1.2 billion of deals as lead analyst representing 2,600 Multifamily units, 3.0 million square feet of commercial space and 326 acres of land.
Mark was raised in Montclair, New Jersey and earned a BS in Business Administration from The University of Vermont, where he was recruited as a Division One athlete (lacrosse).
