ROLE: Opportunity to work as an Associate Director in a dual role within both Capital Markets and Investment Acquisition functions.
Capital Markets:
- Liaise with client and capital sources to advance transaction from idea phase to closing table
- Identify, approach & engage with potential clients and capital sources
- Construct excels including pro-forma cash flows, asset valuations & equity waterfalls
- Create pitch books, including graphic design, market analysis, creative/persuasive writing
- Support senior executives during client & capital provider pitches
- Lead various internal functions including operations, recruiting, office management and marketing
Acquisitions:
- Identify/screen/value investment opportunities and determine entry point/upside
- Support throughout due diligence including environmental, historical financials, pro forma creation and business plan creation
- Lead the deal team through the closing of transactions, including liaising with legal, appraisal, contracting, & insurance professionals
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience in capital markets advisory, real estate private equity, or commercial real estate banking
- Ability to effectively communicate to capital providers, investors & developers
- Strong network of contacts in the local/regional market
- Ability to quickly identify the viability of a transaction and express the case via Excel/Powerpoint
- Strong Work Ethic & Drive
Compensation:
- Salary + uncapped quarterly performance bonus with aggressive acceleration based upon revenue booked
- Share of company profits with opportunity to earn equity in the firm
- Unlimited PTO
